Wayne Munson is, by all definitions, an old maid.
No one really uses that word anymore, but it's true. He's never taken an Alpha, not once, besides a half-baked courtship with a girl when they were both still pups, unpresented.

In retrospect, none of this would've happened if Steve hadn't insisted on taking the sofa.
Which, he didn't exactly have a choice, did he? The Munsons have a two bedroom apartment now, sure, but Steve already feels bad enough crashing at their place.

He's never liked Alphas much at all, really. Even in the throes of his heat
This isn't to say he hasn't had his own rolls in the hay, of course. He's had his little trysts, here and thereβ
They'd been sweet on one another, and Wayne'd considered courting him
It never happened. Wayne's lost a lot of sleep over it, over the "what if" of it all.
But, beyond Benny Hammond, he's never had any notion of courting, or domesticity.
That is, until Steve Harrington.
Wayne's never felt like a dirty old man before now.
An Omega, younger than his Ed, came knocking at their door in the dead of the night, shaking and stinking of rejection.
