I am buying 25lb boxes of unsalted, roasted peanuts. All so I get that dopamine hit from bringing all squirrels (and crows) to my yard. They are little action heroes doing impossible ninja jumps 24/7/365. Impossible not to love.

I ran a bird feeder in the back yard from 2019 into the early months of the Year of the ‘Rona, but rats discovered it and that really put me off my feed. 😕

I feel that completely. I know that I'm attracting the rats to mine and my neighbors places by having a stocked birdfeeder and clean water in the bird baths. I use a capture trap to get them out of my house and into a nearby wildlife reserve, and I seal my home better. They were here first, imho 🐾
