Two things in the suburbs, well worth the effort: Monte Amiata housing complex is astonishing; Figini & Polini's Madonna dei Poveri is very moving.

Santa Maria Presso San Satiro….. tiny early renaissance church by Bramante squeezed into its site to the point that there was no room for a chancel….. so a trompe l’oeil false perspective completes the effect.
Wonderful building!
