1/ Brag time. I wrote to the DSM committee for them to change text in the DSM... and they did! I've posted about the *decision* to change the text before but the new text change was just posted (see below). As a lifelong DSM nerd this is very cool. The speed with which this happened surprised me too

I’m also a DSM nerd from way back! I worked as staff on DSMIV when I was in grad school, so long ago much of my job entailed photocopying journals in the basement of the Payne Whitney Clinic and filing correspondence in triplicate in big metal cabinets. 😅
