I wonder when Canada, Mexico, China, and eventually the EU start imposing economic sanctions directly on Trump, Musk, and their merry gang of fascist thugs.

Canadian government says they can only tariff classes of products so a tariff directly on Tesla would be illegal.
They might have a work around in three weeks though.
A large bunch of our people are so stupid that Canada turning off their power would not have them realizing WHY that happened, it would just incite them to wanting a bomb dropped on Canada.
Nothing to do with the trade war, but with the corruption of the federal governance systems: the rest of the world can no longer rely on any US organisation, government or commercial, meeting any commitments they may have made on the confidentiality of any data. /
So, for the protection of both people and businesses, all determination that US protections are adequate must be revoked until confidence can be re-established. This must not be treated as a trade-war thing, it's far deeper than that.
This would mean that several US businesses would be hit fairly hard. But in many parts of the world the local regulatory frameworks are already in place, especially the EU. Not necessarily quick, but not quick to undo either.
Similar considerations should apply to US products that handle data, such as routers, switches, and computers, including Operating System software (such as Windows). In the UK Huawei devices had to be certified by UK government experts who had full access to source code for a while, /
and this allowed them to keep selling until a determination was made that the company internal processes we so broken that even this process could not be relied on. Then their kit was banned.
Essentially the US as a country can no longer be trusted to fulfill obligations.
It's what we've done to Russia for decades. If a country is an oligarchy, you need to punish the individual oligarchs if you want to actually impact the government with your sanctions
