Yeah it totally is me. My standards of what I deem acceptable are too high unfortunately. I just can’t tolerate mediocrity no matter how hard I try. Jealous of those who can though.
Does a great job capturing and honoring the West Coast sound and LA culture, both historic and contemporary. Far less of a concept album than some of his others. Love the production and content. Not his best album but a great moment on this massive run. He's what the culture's feelin
I was just bored. And why is rapping with 40 marbles in your mouth worth celebrating? He’s too…let me do this thing just because it’s difficult. Just rap dude. Its ok. Certainly not what I want from hip hop. I am becoming a man yelling at clouds listening to my 90s records.
For real though, when he makes a good album, I will stop being a hater. Cross my heart. I believe in him. Mr Morale was so close. Maybe a 7/10 but I want at least an 8.

I feel this was one his most straightforward albums. He had the Tupac homage and man at the garden gives some One Mic vibes.
