I use this recipe and got compliments from my Kenyan in-laws. Kenyans don't generally out peas and potatoes in them, I like a bit of mashed potato cuz it holds the meat together, though. Truly they are incredible. They're pretty similar to Indian samosas though - at least the ones I had in Mombasa had a strong Indian influence.
