I never liked Hanna Barbera being a byword for “lazy” or “cheap” when what they were was “efficient”. Huge, busy ideas, brought affordably to screen. The alternative wasn’t doing it more slickly or artistically, it was no cartoons being on telly at all. What an alternative.
