Set me thinking, been noticeably disabled more than half of mine, hadn’t really thought about it before now. It’s OK, I’d be lost without it to be honest. It’s become so much part of who I am and actually gave me a chance for some learning and development I might not have got otherwise.
True. I didn't realise I was autistic until adulthood so I kind of don't think of it in childhood terms even though it obviously impacted me. It would be more accurate to say visibly disabled/a wheelchair user.
