Would love someone with more knowledge to calculate how much CO² a wildfire releases. In the 2019 Sydney fires I did a back of the napkin calculation and came up with roughly 30 tonnes of CO² per hectare burned. It added 50% to Australia's emissions that year and it's never mentioned. #lafires
