This maps pretty closely to a population density map — by which I mean, those blank spots don’t have many (or any) people living in them. Basically wherever there were people, there were protests.
Ivan—you can’t move forward by looking in the rear view mirror. How many who voted did nothing to get the vote out except post on twitter or bitch to like minded folks. Let’s move forward. Time to stare backwards later.
Dude, the punishment is taking care of itself. Maybe concentrate on the coalition building bc winning the country back is gonna be more important than “I told you so.”
(Also just cuz somebody is eligible doesn’t mean that voter suppression magically went poof.)
Do we have a total number estimate? I’ve been arguing with some non-American guy on Threads all morning who insists that “data” shows there were only 500,000 protesters, basing that on media reports. Please….
This is amazing! There was also a protest in Oberlin, Ohio that isn't reflected. I've seen a figure of 2,000 attendees. Multiple pics and videos can be found by searching "Oberlin" here on Bluesky.
Some with many pics missing from Wooster and our “sister” city Ashland. Hi neighbor! Congrats on work in Oberlin, wish we would be able to quite reproduce in highly Republican Wooster, but we had 1,000:
Oh my, wow! Here's hoping that future protests of these kind will have that amount or even more cities join in across the country, let alone around the world, with a Canadian election coming up in less than three weeks.

No doubt, many others are too. Can't have it all, LOL.
