I think arguing that people holding flags may not have a complete handle on the intricacies of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and flying off the handle about it being an explicit pro-Hamas display or whatever is a pretty big leap. They’re probably more upset about all of the non-Hamas people dead.

I’m generally empathetic. However, Americans waving the Palestinian flag in the US don’t get my benefit of the doubt.
“The whitest state in the country” is my jibe for far-left Vermont transplants who feel a deep sense of racial injustice for people who don’t live within 100 miles of them.

FYI - I don’t march around carrying flags for any country. Those optics inevitably become problematic.
