I supported Biden's cease fire that would have ended the slaughter and provided US help for a 2 state solution. Most Americans did. It was finally adopted at the last hour after hope for all else failed. https://www.npr.org/2024/05/31/g-s1-2320/biden-israel-hamas-ceasefire-proposal

Israel agreed to the Biden cease fire in June, but Hamas, Hezbollah, and Palestinians here and in Gaza did not.
