Definitely I mentioned the app less, and the excitement from the launch eventually died down a bit.

Also, I demoed the app’s sequence builder at the beginning and a lot of Rails folks were excited about it because it was built without React or any of those frameworks.

November shows (compared with the previous months) that business is truly up and down.

1. Sales went down, but this is to be expected. When launching, there are always those who support you because they know you and have seen your work over time. Once that phase is over, business truly begins.

2. In terms of product development, the initial launch was definitely the fastest. This month slowed down somewhat due to implementing some more complicated features and laying the groundwork for future features with internal APIs and such.

3. Marketing-wise, I stepped away from adding blog posts and pages to the website for a few weeks. Instead, I've focused on adding more backlinks.

Slowly I'm getting steady traffic from Google/Bing.

For December, I'll need to set up some content calendar.

4. Affiliate program. I still haven't launched one yet. A big reason I didn't want an affiliate program this early is because I wanted to refine the product some more and make sure everything as self-served as possible.

Currently aiming to do this later in December.

5. Settling into a cadence. The sprint from Sepember (first commit) to October (launch) was really tough. It was at an unsustainable pace, and so November sort of levelled out to a cadence I can work with.
