As if the world isn’t entering a scary enough time as it is, we then have this ‘Labour’ government treating us as lesser humans. Their language, and behaviour is far to close to that that is coming from Trump and Elon for my liking. I wouldn’t trust Starmer and co any further than I could throw them

The language is concerning isn't it? Whether we work or not, the truth is we aren't accepted the way we are, politicians, companies, capitalism, they all see us as problems to be sorted out.

I didn’t liked Starmer’s language before they came into power, it’s definitely gotten worse since. We seem to have to constantly fight and justify our existence.

That's exactly my experience too, that we have to fight to justify our existence or worth. It's exhausting and at times even traumatising. I hope that one day we won't have to fight anymore.

This whole ordeal scared me so much that i couldn't muster the courage to actually seek any benefit despite my PTSD diagnosis and the several entries of emergency calls for suicide ideation.

The hostility against mental health and physical disabilities scares me, I just want to live happily..

Twice, I've experienced disability discrimination in a workplace. One of those times, it lasted years and was on a both individual and systemic level. It's left me with work trauma that makes me an even less desirable worker.

We fight so many difficult circumstances already and to see a @teamlabouruk.bsky.social government care so little for disabled people, their loved ones and anyone who might become disabled in future is frankly deeply disturbing.
