With a brief stop at Castlemaine station to see S313 arrive, and get petrol + toilet break, we were off before departure once again

Taradale viaduct is one of the most impressive structures on the Bendigo line, and where we met S313 once again

After standing in the loop for 30 minutes to let V/line country services pass, she crossed the viaduct with a straight shot to Melbourne

With the nature of the Bendigo line's geography, there wasn't much chance in chasing line we did around Rochester

Our final pic was Williamston Rd, just north of Bendigo, in fantastic evening light. The train was now running about 10 minutes behind, which is very good for a special!

Thank you. It is satisfying when it goes right, and also a lot easier with two people (one to drive, one to navigate). I reckon we did about as well as you can do, especially north of Bendigo
