On the contrary, IKEA has been a pioneer in ecofriendly packaging - they've redesigned their packing practices to be more compact for fewer trips, partially replaced (in the process of phasing out completely) their polystyrene padding w/ biodegradable mushroom padding & are phasing out plastic use.
