Zero, as in wood, metal. I believe these chemicals, like lead, do damage at every level of contamination. Just less damage.

Recently, I learned my work has a guidance to use a calculator for all calculations, even simple ones. This is a good example I can use in training!

My suspicion is that using a calculator can make this kind of error more likely. It's very easy to shift a decimal place by mistake.

Hm, it seems like more of a mental math error to me. Easy to lose track of zeroes. Just recently had someone (mentally) scale down a 9.6 to 0.4 mixture and use 960 uL:400 uL.
