I'm guessing this stems from the asinine idea that some establishment Dems have that they should do nothing and let the Trump administration hang itself.

Let the GOP fuck all of us enough in the hope that they don't have to actually adopt any working-class policy if/when they return to power.

Some intel: I've talked to journalists and folks on the Hill about this. Last night after OMB's action, some Senate Dems tried to unify the caucus to vote against Duffy. Schumer, among others, opposed it, and it flopped.

The current Dem leadership strategy is to use strong language but not do shit.
