I wonder why ?? This is a fabulous piece of archaeology.. incredibly beautiful and important too. People’s ability to consistently ignore important archaeological finds never ceases to astound me 🤨
I used to be a guard at a gallery that had an obscure Florentine painting exhibition. There was also an unmarked Michelangelo rondo in the room. Almost nobody ever looked at the Michelangelo because they didn't know who it was by.
