It's really only an issue with fully voiced NPCs so there only needs to be a small number of variations on specific lines with pronouns in them. If it's text-based or the characters make nonsense noises (like The Sims) then there's absolutely no reason why not.

I'm all for this, except that you know people who don't understand grammar would wildly botch it. Like using "her's" when they mean "hers", reinforcing hilariously bad writing practices.

(This is assuming the sort of people who would confuse "her's" and "hers" can/would actually read in-game text.)

Would require people to understand subject-, object-, posessive-, and reflective pronouns, unless the game only uses say subject/object for example. Theoretically doable, but not as inclusive as it seems at first glance.

Part of my idea would have examples of pronouns for each like section, and their should be an option for “common pronouns.” I do think an option to let people dig in as much as they want in to pronouns is a thing that should be in RPG games in the future
