Good to read in this post from the @rcem.ac.uk that “The vital elements of care are lost in translation as we rush to describe models premised upon meaningless labels. We don’t even know what they mean. Words matter. We must do better.”
Labels can overshadow the needs of patients. Ms Smith, an 87-year-old former nurse, came seeking help but quickly became an 'inappropriate primary care attendance,' a 'breach,' & even a 'bed blocker.'
