Where I live, apartment complexes are popping up everywhere. Why? Because fewer & fewer people can afford the American dream.
FACT: The fed minimum wage hasn't been raised since 2009. It remains $7.25. (As of 2/24, the ave price for a carton of eggs = $4.95. π€)

A three bedroom rental house, approximately 1800 ft.Β² is $2600 a month. Not including utilities.
Absolutely ridiculous!π€¬ apartments are about as much, or more.π€¬π€¬
