If I was writing, it would be Mox winning this, Christian trying & almost successfully cashing in but getting thwarted by Copeland, starting a new feud.

Kenny, Osprey, OC & gang fight Deathriders and come close but fail, only for Eddie to come in, take the reigns, & beats Mox for the title.

The great thing about the story is so many guys make sense for different reasons. OC is the longtime thorn in his side. Eddie for a billion reasons. Omega because they are the yin/yang of AEW. Before his illness, it felt like Luchasaurus would stop a smug Christian from cashing in on an injured champ who had been beaten down by a faction. Once the Death Riders showed their hand it was certain. When Cope got involved and the big lizard was getting healthy it feels almost like kismet.

I'm also enjoying the Death Riders story. I felt like the interview with Renee in the basement established the story. I get the stakes.

That segment was aces. Each death rider got a turn to speak their piece, with the soldiers each getting their moments to set up Mox for the second half.

People talking about Cope and Christian, I don't think they work together again until they’re aligning. I think their feud was buttoned up perfectly, plus they've already had like 3 matches.
