Yesterday, I made a 12km nudehike at the beach, I was a naturist. At home, I'm often naked, I'm a nudist.

More important to me, wood be, that a lot of people misuse the terms for posting porn or selling the onlyfan accounts.

I'm in alignment with your definitions. As a naturist I feel the connection outside of myself when grounded barefooted with the earth and nude. I garden organically, shop for non-gmo, and meditate daily for well being. As a nudist it is more inward about comfort and body focused.

Academically, sure. In practice, the labels are interchangeable. Some nudists hold "naturist" ideals. Some naturists hold "nudist" ideals. There are more differences between any two people who enjoy nonsexual nudity than there are between nudists as a group and naturists as a group. It's semantics.

Why I use Nudist/Naturist. I’m a cross of both. And in my experience some naturists refuse to accept they have the same core value of Just being nude.

At the same time, I so prefer using nude over naked because I feel less vulnerable when I’m nude and feel more naked when I’m dressed.

I use both labels for different aspects of my nude life. Naturism because I enjoy the natural world while naked but nudist because I enjoy the company of others. But don’t be constrained by labels, enjoy nudity in whatever context feels best for you!

I've started calling myself (though no labels needed) a "Naturist Nudist" as I really do like being nude whenever possible, but I especially seek doing so, and get best benefits, when out in the Natural world. For instance my volunteering specialty at my Club is trailwork.
