I've said everything else in that thread already but this part of it is important. I'm aware that disabling external apps hides the usage of them being used in the public, but that the individual user will still see a private message.

My video is for public messages in public servers. Ty tho!

Adding, first of all thank you for spreading awareness, and 2nd that even if you see a message that the bot is "banned", if external apps are on it can still be used PRIVATELY. No one will see its messages but the one with permission apps.

Adding this as well, this is from Essem on bluesky, turning off external apps in your permissions stops it from PUBLICALLY posting messages, the user can still use external apps PRIVATELY.
