The day after Helene altered the landscape of my valley, FEMA was on the ground checking on residents and cataloguing damage in my neighborhood, literally walking door to door. It made a difference. Thank you!

They go to every disaster area and do everything they can to help people. I saw asheville 6 weeks after the storm and it looked rough. I can't imagine being there right after the flooding. But you courageous people do this to help others. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO!!!

It’s hard day in day out. Some work in offices but some are always in field. In the “trenches”.Not first responders but act like itsometimes.
Dsa getting guns pulled on or them in their face when going day to do. Others sectors getting threaten
Or just living in austere conditions, away from family

The folks working in FEMA are awesome! ❤️ FEMA has been indispensable helping multiple communities recover from recent natural disasters, including where I live. They rarely get credit for all they do, and too often get blame for things beyond their control. (Not to mention all the disinformation.)
