Broadly, it's how the sun affects the outer layers of Earth's atmosphere. Basically, anything between us and the sun. Not exactly something that can be studied or managed at the local level...

True its kinda messy but there's sooooo much stuff. It makes you realize how much work goes into weather reporting. I remember when I found the spaceweather page, my head almost exploded...lol
