While conventional wisdom now says government is bloated and corrupt, that is actually conventional stupidity. Congress created NOAA and its functions are vital. We got mad at immigrants but elected a fool who will leave us at the mercy of hurricanes and tornadoes (and algae).

As the wife of an NWS Met, I am heartbroken by what is being done. These men and women go to work each day to protect life and property. They don’t care about political affiliation, net worth, or where you are from. They just want to protect us.
