He wasn’t a democrat until he chose to run for president. He was actively ANTI democrat as much as he was anti Republican.
What’s more, he stole his platform from Elizabeth Warren, whom, again, a woman, he not only did not back when she ran on her own ideas, he ran against her.

Bernie was adamantly anti Democrat as much as he was anti Republican until 2016.
The Democrats had their own candidate, and he decided that he was just going to jump in and run. You can call it “not selling out”, but it felt more like he was using the party as sloppy seconds.

Democrats and republicans are afraid of Progressives. I saw how many hearts of young liberal voters get shattered by the democrats because they wanted Bernie. They knew they had to stop it because it’s was too fast and too progressive. So yeah

I am extremely progressive, more a social democrat, but I have been a registered Democrat for 35 years. A lot of us have put literal decades into the party, working for candidates up and down the ballot. School board up to President.

This is the thing. Hillary wanted it so bad she didn’t care if she failed against Trump. She made it about her and not the country. And it showed because they chose Hillary thinking she would beat him 🤣🤣 so how is it going?? Yeah totally blew the gop out! Right?

I think you’d be surprised how many young republicans liked Bernie. We will never know the real outcome, but they knew this movement was not good for both parties. Colorado loved him.

I know. It was the mild sexism and racism. He’s a white man from the whitest state in the union, and to his credit he did better in his second run, but there was a lot of anti-Hillary Russian bot owned content being circulate by his followers too.
