Sincere question: if H5N1 is reported in all wasteH20 monitoring locations in CA (which leads us to believe it’s rampant) and raw milk is still being consumed in CA, shouldn’t we be seeing “raw milk deaths” by now with such a high mortality rate?

The bigger concern is ingesting H5N1 into a person who also happens to have another influenza A , one which is much better adapted to infecting humans. When different influenza viruses meet, they can swap parts, and this could create an H5N1 that now has the pieces necessary to infect humans.
H5N1 infection is ideal now. Builds herd immunity with mild disease. Human flu virus is attenuated for the live attenuated influenza vaccine by propagating it in birds! (Chicken egg). Here we have nature offering a live "attenuated" virus already grown in birds. Nature's safe/effective "vaccine".
