And one of the most eye-opening and also frustrating things in my research was learning about ideas from women like Dolores Hayden, Angela Davis, and so many others that have been pushing for these changes and suggesting new ideas for so long.

There is active discrimination in urbanism/planning: lack of washrooms (women more likely to be caregivers and have greater needs); snow clearing/transit; public safety in design; accessibility; etc; most of this is beyond “code min” which is basis for most public sector design 1/
