For myself, I did not know until recently when statistics were quoted during TV drama series. That tells me these stories are being hidden. Unforgivable actions by those in power.
It is unforgivable. I have an Indigenous friend whose sister was murdered. It is through her that I have learned how far-reaching it is in the US and Canada.
So many don't seem to know it is happening in Canada, too. It almost seems they ignore it more than here in America. I am very sorry about your friend's sister. So many sisters just gone. Too many. 💔
Oh, ppl care all right. They care very much. They care to bury the truth so can go on being all patriotic and crap, and claim to be moral and be believed by ignorant ppl who care more about nice sounding slogans than the ugly truth.

A direct outcome of how you present or write about history using words like merciless Indian savages, heathens, red skins and squaw. USA history taught white children to hate, mistrust and killl us off because we were protecting our homeland. Now look at what the white man is doing to all of us?
I didn’t say anything about purity of anyone people. The harm done by one human group to another is based on a pogrom of teaching children and those in your group that ‘the other’ is a worthless lower species in order to take-steal their land for your own livelihood makes killing them acceptable .

However, this is quite believable.

Lets also not pretend one group is pure and the other is evil.
The REAL trouble is that there are evil ppl in every group you name, and they lead us to murder or destruction. We need to root them out.
