those are indeed sleeves! a lot of the fashion i give the Kryn is inspired by old rus clothes. with those sleeves, the hands were not meant to go through the cuffs at all—more often than not, they were left hanging, or, occasionally, tied behind the back for convenience. such hanging split sleeves
