$WMT is up over 88% in just the last year!

Here's my problem with this:

All of the gains are due to multiple expansion.

$WMT P/E ratio 1 year ago: 25
$WMT P/E ratio now: 39

And their 5 YR AVG P/E ratio is 25.

Did something change for $WMT to warrant a massive premium?
