Another point which the coalition doesn’t want you to realise: almost all nuclear projects run behind schedule and over budget (often massively), many solar projects come in under budget and ahead of schedule. Strangely, this doesn’t seem to be acknowledged in the coalitions “plan”.

Even modelling from AEMO shows that smart meters will need to be installed so solar can be switched off at the discretion of the operator. In other words, the grid becomes more unstable as more solar is installed
