I would feel immense guilt for not tipping around 20% unless the server had done something like set me on fire.

A majority of Americans say they would tip 15% or less for an average restaurant dining experience, including 2% who wouldn’t leave a tip at all.

Adults in lower-income households & those ages 65+ are more likely than their counterparts to say they would tip 15% or less in a situation like this.
