Good and bad news on the asteroid. Earth impact reduced to under 1%. However, impacting the Moon is now at 1%. My favorite NASA source says she doesn't know what would happen if it hit the Moon, as it has no atmosphere to protect it, nor is the Moon as solid as the Earth. Could be worse for us.

Sevenses, Reamde, Doge in Hell - none of them clicked with me, to the point I haven’t finished them, while I’ve read everything else at least twice, I think.
