Ok, With glasses I see the awacs is ours, and that an identification zone would be where you figure out who it is.
The way things have been going, it would not be surprising for them to be testing boundaries, though.

At the very least, it is pretty neat to be able to see a part (maybe) of the air mission that goes into conducting intercepts.

I was wondering about those parts where the blue line did not connect, figuring that the grey line was estimated flight path.
Maybe you know this... do awacs look up well, or are they designed for high altitude looking down?
