Non-voters have their reasons. In a truly representative multiparty democracy, they'd be courted relentlessly. Instead, they're treated as benighted or unpatriotic. π

I canvass a lot and have spoke to many non-voters and low info voters. While the report makes some valid points, I am sceptical about a lot of it. A lot people just donβt care that much. They have other things to do and care about. We are the weirdos.
I'm a veteran canvasser as well. It's invaluable. But my take is that non-voters need something to vote *for*. They know enough to know that their material conditions don't change regardless of who's in office. Dismissing the whole bloc is a tactical error, IMO.
