With literacy rates, whatever hooks a kid into reading is good. š
And yes! Get those words into their heads any way you can. Same logic applies for audio books and eReaders.
Also, I think some dessert is in order right now because the world is on fire. Let kids find comfort in the books they love.
And honestly, this is a form of censorship, mild as it may initially appear, that's a step away from banning books.
