Some fans criticized Orion Pax on letting Sentinel Prime live, and not wanting him executed like D-16 wanted.

So, D-16 wanted to kill Sentinel because he was lied by him, and wanted to avenge everyone for this.

Orion Pax wanted the same, but the point is that he didn't want to take revenge through an execution. He just wanted to let the Cybertronians know that they were being guided by a false leader, and imprisone him for what he did.

Somehow, many people think that D-16, now Megatron, was right to have killed Sentinel Prime, and don't get why Orion didn't want to do so. Orion Pax didn't want D-16 to become a monster like Sentinel was. That's the whole point of that scene.

D-16 was too blind from rage that he didn't want to listen Orion neither. When Orion put himself in front of D-16 he gets shot, and many thinks it was a stupid act. Guys, Orion did this because he thought D-16 wouldn't shot if he put himself in front of Sentinel.

And again, he wanted D-16 to be lucid again. He wanted his best friend to fix everything with a dialogue. And also because they won. Sentinel couldn't do anything else at that point. Everyone knew already what kind of person he truly was. Once D-16 dropped Orion it was the end.

Everything of what Orion knew about him was the end. He lost forever his best friend. Orion never wanted things to end up like this, but D-16/Megatron didn't care. He cared too much for vengeance than his best friend. How can people think that Megatron was right for execution?

This makes me think that some humans just really want to see their friends, family, or whatsover, turn into monsters because they think it's right to take vengeance. They seriously think that turning into a monster is okay. They didn't get Orion Pax/Optimus Prime at all.
