Things I'd tell my younger bassist self 040: In recent months, while visiting my local music store, I got connected to the leader of my main gig (a jazz quartet) and made at least three other important music connections. My Sweetwater rep has never done that for me.

Things I'd tell my younger bassist self 039: you can probably set up a bass at least as well as an average music store guitar tech but only 90 as well as a high level bass tech. And that last ten percent matters.
