I switched from Moto to Samsung and then from Samsung to Pixel 1 back in the day bc I reasoned Google will maintain their own phones as long as possible and no 3rd-party layer will keep it efficient. It's worked! When it broke, I got a newer Pixel and they last until you hit them REAL hard. Pixel 6a

I was given a used Samsung Galaxy S21 FE by my neighbour and I'm really happy with it. The only negative for me is that there's no slot for an SD card, but that's a bit of a luxury problem, I guess. It seems to be very reliable, it runs on the newest android version and has frequent updates.

Sorry for the last message, gotcha, used ones, I would say that pixel would be a good investment for a more “pure android”, I would stay away from Samsung due to bloated OS (which by today you can’t unisntall some of the stuff)

The Pixel 6a is an excellent phone, and its upgradeability was just extended to 2027. Plan on spending $10-15 on a case to protect it from drops and such.

I don't have any experience with the other two phones, so I can't offer comparisons. Best wishes!

I really liked my pixel, fast start up and good camera, at the "a" versions usually have a headphone jack vs the regular Pixels don't

I would say the Pixel. That’s likely to have the best build quality and everyone I know who has one seems to like it.
