i keep reading posts from people getting laid off in genuinely every possible tech industry you can imagine and it's so fucking insane that the thing people have to worry about isn't "can an AI do my job" but "can a very stupid person convince my boss that an AI can do my job"

The, uh, gap between labor and capital has rarely been worse so capital is just completely out there.
But it's outsourced to vendors who are themselves outsourcing to freelancers, and the rates they offer are so ridiculously low that I know for a fact they can't get professionals to work with them.
These CEOs and execs need control because they're cowards. They are terrified of us
It's even worse when you consider that fixing that spaghetti is harder than writing it brand new and that the loss of jobs means loss of experience
