if cats knew how to speak human language they would also use it to lie. it is worth the risk though, to be able to explain that yes, this pill is okay to eat, please swallow it.
The unicorn version of this has been the only successful cat tree in my house (the other ones get used only because they are near a window, this bad boy is popular everywhere).
Avoid Amarkat brand. My cats are solid (14+ lbs each), healthy and hoppy LOL and the Amarkat brand falls to pieces and does not hold up weight. It's also designed for very small cats, about 9 lbs. Frisco seems good, just check measurements.
We rescued an old guy who looked like that, many yrs ago. My kids named him "Spike"& he spent Spring & Summer basking in the sun on our deck (while our 2 female cats expressed their resentment!) after living *under* it all winter (we put out a heating pad). We knew he had FeLeuk 😢. He died in Aug.
what a precious man. i didn't catch his name. also, if you got milk cartons that have these... they skitter on the floor in *just* the right way for cats to take notice.
We fostered a ginger stray and he caught on to having us whipped pretty fast. The first time I picked him up and put him on the bed to cuddle, it was like his mind blew open
That’s such a sweet thing to say. Your handsome kitty looks like he had a bit of a rough start but has wound up exactly where he was meant to be. I’m sure he’ll love whatever tree you buy. 🎶It’s all about that base🎶 A weighted, sturdy base is probably safest.
It's at this point where I'm usually sobbing at my cat, with my open wallet in front me, saying the words 'i will buy you whatever you want to make you happy'.
So smushy and sweet. I too had an orange cat. Someone had cut off his tail. He was the most loving and real being I’ve ever known. Golly I miss that stubby tailed guy.
You should get him the all out playground type of cat tree. Give him the time of his life and spoil him with it to make up for all the time he had not.
That face! That's a little scrapper, right there. He will (eventually) love any cat tree you get him. Get the biggest, best, most extravagant one ever. He's a cat, so he deserves it.
I opened the door to a bedraggled, very scruffy cat holding a small wet kitten. She wouldn't come in obviously mistreated, so I opened the shed and put down an old dog basket by end of day I had 6 kittens I fed them & another appeared. When ready I got them all adopted except for 1 & mum who I kept.
Every photo you share of this cat reminds me there are things greater than myself that are worth fighting for. Then I burst into tears. It’s a real rollercoaster.
Yeah my mom got a decent sized one for her cat, but he tipped it over with a wild leap from the top so it is now secured to a convenient support post running through her apartment. Kitty crazies don’t happen all the time, but when they strike cat tree tipping is a possibility.
The ragged old man cat we adopted (by accident, there’s a story if you’re interested) loved sitting on the top bed of our cat tree despite his weird hip thing that made him walk really weird. The nearby table gave him enough room to pull himself up. I think any elevated position makes a cat happy.
It may be of helped to find out what kind of surface he likes to scratch on. See if you can get a disposable cardboard scratcher a Sissel scratcher that’s small of some kind and a carpet scratcher of some kind that are small and inexpensive and see which material he gravitates to.
He's beautiful! Mine was also beat up when he found me. He still will have nothing to do with his cat tree, or any kind of treat. He will only eat his unhealthy kibble. (I call his Doritos)...but he knows he's safe! Bless you and your beautiful boy!! ❤️
A friend gave us one. No one ever went into the cave/box on the bottom. They loved the hammock and the top level. One of them loved the scratching posts but rarely hung out otherwise.

Any tree with good view of outside (and smells!) will be appreciated, I'm sure. Even secondhand ones are ok because of the smells.
🦁
and he knows how to use it!
Unless they do trees with an elevator.

inside ?
That's the best treat we've ever fed our cat.
We put a harness on and used 20ft parachute cord, a compromise of sorts.
We kept him in because we moved.
Then we seen a bear when we opened the door.
That was 2 cats ago.
Kitty will love the love and treats 😽
Trust me on this.
And a laser pointer.
"Mrrrow." 🤔
My relationship with my cat is very co-dependent.
Everything else is secondary.

My first time buying one was an absolute fail. Cat tried to climb it and the base sucked and so... TIMBERRRRRRR! 🤣
The other 2 of my cats didn't have an issue - But my elderly fat cat just took the entire cat tree down with her 🤷♀️😂😂😂
He's a lucky guy.
Just bring him in, someone serves him little tuna hors d'oeuvres while he strolls around and picks out his favorites...
Like that existential worry that because good things are happening now it means bad things will inevitably happen later to balance the cosmic scales
Big relate
