i kinda guessed that from the combination of her last name and the keffiyeh, but it's nice to see it in the open when Zionists are calling it a terrorist scarf
The chuds on Twitter used to melt down almost as much about Kat as they did for AOC. I wonder what the pattern here is. Probably going to do the two minutes hate for old time sake.
the incumbent schakowsky is probably the most progressive dem in the house. trans grandkid, boycotted netanyahu speech 10 years ago, single payer, green new deal etc etc. why primary someone arguably left of fucken bernie lmao
Because she's 80 and there's no actual argument for her being left of Bernie. It's also funny how disingenuous you are about "moving one district west" like it's moving to the next street over
like seriously props to her for giving it a go but toppling the furthest left dem in the house isn't how you start this shit lol. this assuming she can do it since the people in that district presumably know what they've been voting for for 30 years
it would be good for jan to have a safe replacement in advance of her imminent retirement. she’s 80. you want to cycle out older representatives as soon as you might have someone viable; bad idea to wait until you can’t run them anymore
Yeah the way you get another Jan is by electing another Jan. No more 80 year olds, because sometimes they turn into 90 year olds and sometimes they turn into corpses.
Plus even if Kat loses, she can always just run again when the incumbent either passes or retires. I'd rather have competitive races between progressives than a progressive up against some corporate liberal or someone worse, like a chud.
No disrespect to what Schakowsky has achieved but at 80 years old, it's time to pass the baton. Anyway, we should encourage primaries everywhere regardless of who the incumbent is. I think it keeps politicians accountable to their base, is a way for voters to get engaged, and helps identify talent
I'm not sure you can drag schakowsky further left when she's already arguably left of bernie, lol. oh sure there's always room for improvement but this seems like a lot of effort for really limited gain
