Leon was quoted in the Tribune saying that he got a call from a friend saying "If you're a MAGA person, I can't vote for you." Well, Bruce... I'm not saying that you're a MAGA Republican. I AM saying that you have no problem funding their candidates.

Bruce Leon is the sitting Democratic Committeeperson of the 50th Ward. According to the data, he's donated to Republicans the same amount of times as he's donated to Democrats. That seems like something the Cook County Dems might want to look into.

Bullshit like this in the 2nd District is why I support a principled, progressive candidate like Ebony DeBerry. She's the most qualified candidate in District 2, won't try to trick or lie to voters like other candidates, and will work hard for good quality public schools.
