Huh.
To save perhaps a small confusion for someone else shuffling big files around:
MacOS now uses base10 multiples for kB, MB and GB, rather than the base2 ones.
(1000 kB = 1MB instead of 1024)

(Both report size in bytes accurately, it’s worth noting)
There are now apparently different units notation for the binary versions (kiB, MeB and so on), but of course noone uses that….
