Anyone go out and see Betelgeuse yet, it's easy to spot. Make sure that there's very little light or moon, and it's the reddest object in the Orion constellation
The wiki says it's the upper left (shoulder) and that it will supernova in the next 100,000 years. When it does, it will be as bright as a half moon, and (lol) "life on earth will be unharmed"
Amazing, beautiful and vast. Goes to show how vastly small and insignificant this small rock is compared to the universe. Yet how fortunate I am to be here seeing this while having coffee. Thankful for the adventure!
We have such a beautiful, mysterious planet that offers us everything we need. Or at least it did before capitalism 💔. I’m trying to find my way back to when people grew there on food & hunted the animals that was only used for a source substance & warmth from their pelt. I want to heal Mother Earth
